Artigo Pico-ITX VGA problem

I picked up one of those uber-geeky Artigo Pico-ITX kits this week and started putting it together. Man, did my fingers feel fat trying to squeeze that thing together.

Anyway, I did get it all pieced together, plugged in the power supply and the VGA cable, and hit the power button. The power light came on, the fan started (really noisy fan by the way), but nothing came up on the monitor...just a "check connection" message from the monitor itself.

After a bit of searching on the oh-so-helpful VIA support forums, I did come across this post describing a VGA problem. One of the recommended solutions was to re-seat the RAM, and that did the trick for me. I had to put it in at a 45 degree angle, push it in all the way, then snap it down vertically. Once I did that, I got the boot screen on power up.

Unfortunately, I am leaving very early on a business trip tomorrow, so will not get to finish installing an OS, etc. yet, but will continue posting when I return from my trip.
