Thursday August 16, 2007 Skype Outage
Well, it's been over 24 hours, and Skype is still down. I had really resisted depending on VOIP until I went to Japan, and sure enough not 1 week after I took the plunge and upgraded to SkypePro...BANG! The biggest Skype outage ever.
Fortunately I don't have too many calls today, so I'll probably be ok, but I am seriously considering looking into alternatives for contacting the US. The last day has been an absolute nightmare. In the meantime, I'll keep checking the Skype Heartbeat for signs of life.
